CHN 95 has arrived in Valencia
After traveling for a month, CHN 95 arrived in Spain in the early hours of December 15th. The first Chinese America's Cup Class in the history of the Cup was unloaded friday morning in the Valencian commercial port and then sent to the shipyard where it will be painted in the upcoming days!
The unloading was set for 6:40 on the morning. Designers, technicians, team members, made up the 20 people waiting in the dawn light for the moment when CHN 95, would be unloaded from it's container ship, and would finally touchdown on Valencian soil. It was a grand moment, even if the unloading was scheduled for 8h30, but eventually took place at eleven. Above all, it was just a pleasure to see the boat arrive at the right port as well as a few days ahead of the original scheduled arrival date…
