Qingdao International Airport, located approximately 39 kilometers from the city center, serves as a major gateway for both international and domestic travel. Key international destinations include Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Additionally, there are direct flights to various cities in Europe, the USA, and other global locations.
The airport facilitates around 780 flights each week, linking Qingdao with 50 domestic cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi’an. It is equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable travel experience for both domestic and international passengers.
Trains
Qingdao Railway Station is a major transportation hub that connects Qingdao with several important cities across China. It provides rail services to destinations such as Lanzhou, Chengdu, Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Jinan, and Jining. The station is well-integrated into China’s extensive rail network, offering both high-speed and conventional train options for travelers.
Ferries
Qingdao is also a key port for maritime travel. The Orient Ferry service connects Qingdao with Shimonoseki in Japan, providing a convenient sea route for passengers traveling between China and Japan. In addition, there are several smaller ferries that operate routes between Qingdao and various destinations in South Korea, enhancing the city’s connectivity within East Asia.
